These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KANASA VPN website, applications, and VPN service (together, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
KANASA VPN provides an encrypted WireGuard-based tunnel between your device and one of our VPN servers. The Service is designed to improve privacy and security in transit, but it does not guarantee anonymity, uninterrupted access, or access to any particular website, app, content source, or country-specific service.
We may add, remove, or modify server locations, protocols, features, plan limits, and technical requirements at any time.
The app may use device-generated identifiers and authentication tokens rather than a traditional username and password. You are responsible for maintaining control of your device and any access credentials or tokens associated with the Service. You are also responsible for the activity that occurs through your use of the Service.
Some features may require a paid plan. If you subscribe through Google Play or another platform, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled according to that platform's billing terms and policies. If your subscription renews automatically, it will continue until you cancel it through the platform you used to purchase it, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
We may change pricing, plan features, or entitlement structure prospectively. Promotional offers, trial periods, and plan availability may vary by platform, territory, or product configuration.
You may use the Service only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. You may not use the Service to:
We may apply technical, geographic, or plan-based limits such as device limits, server-group restrictions, session limits, speed limits, data limits, cooldown periods, queueing, maintenance windows, or rate limits. These controls help us operate the Service, enforce plans, and protect the network.
The Service may be unavailable, slow, or degraded from time to time due to maintenance, emergencies, carrier issues, internet failures, third-party outages, platform changes, force majeure events, abuse mitigation, legal requirements, or factors outside our control. We do not provide a guaranteed uptime or service level commitment unless we separately agree to one in writing.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access immediately if we reasonably believe that:

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app and Service for your personal use, or internal business use only if your plan expressly permits it. Except as allowed by law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, resell, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Service, or use our name, trademarks, or branding without written permission.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information and describes the difference between our no-activity-log position and the limited operational records needed to run the VPN service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and accuracy. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or suitable for your specific needs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KANASA VPN and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, business, goodwill, data, or use, arising out of or related to the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $50.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KANASA VPN and its affiliates, personnel, and providers from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or the rights of another person or entity.
We may change the Service or these Terms from time to time. When we update these Terms, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. By continuing to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws that apply in the jurisdiction where the operator of KANASA VPN is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the courts that have jurisdiction over the operator of the Service, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim in another forum.
